todays math review

today in math we talked about many things first of all we reviewed circle formulashttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
variables: c= circumfurance (the Distance around) d= diameter( from one side through the middle to the other) r= radius (half the diameterhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif) A= area (space it takes up) pi= 3.14http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

fomulas: c=pi times d d=2 times r r= diameter divided by 2 A= pi times radius squared (times it self)

eg. if d = 6 then the radius is 3 and the circumfirence is 18.84 so the area must be 113.04.

the anwser is 314

Hi Philip, awesome job on your scribe post! I liked the picture that you added. It was very clear and it showed us how to find the area of a circle with the radius.
