Measures of Central Tendency

here is a link to help you with measures of central tendency!

also, here's a video to help you understand more!

Divisibility Rules!

Divisibility is when a nnumber can be divided by another with no remainder or decimal.

2-
All even numbers, numbers that end in 0,2,4,6,8.

5-
All numbers that end in 0 or 5.

10
All numbers that end in 0.

Quotient - The answer to a divisibility question.
e.g. 12 divided by 2 is 6
6 is the quatient.

3-
The sum of all the digits must equal a multiple of 3.
e.g. 98 123 187
9 + 3 = 12 1 + 2 + 3 = 6 4 + 8 + 7 = 19
1 + 2 = 3 1 + 9 = 10
1 + 0 = 1

1378
1 + 3 + 6 + 8 = 19
1 + 9 = 10
1 + 0 = 1

45728163
4 + 5 + 7 + 2 + 8 + 1 + 6 + 3 = 36
3 + 6 = 9

6-
Any number that is divisible by 2 and 3.

9-
The sum of all the digits must equal 9.
e.g. 18 225 623781
1 + 8 = 9 2 + 2 + 5 = 9 6 + 2 + 3 + 7 + 8 + 1 = 27
2 + 7 = 9

Math: Exam Review

A spread sheet organizes date in columns and rows.

Know the ratio of circumference to diameter of any circle is always the same.

Circumference divided by diameter is pi, 3.14

Circle Formulas

c = π d
c = 2 π r
d = 2r
A = π r²

Are is the measure of space, a two dimensional shape covers

Sectors of circle graphs are made from central angles.

If the sector covers 25% of the graph the central angle is 25% of 360° which is 90° (0.25 x 360)

Integers
negative numbers represent values below zero and positive numbers represent values above zero.

eg. above and below ground or sea level

1+ (-2) = (-1) is an addition statement

3 - (-1) = 4 is an subtraction statement

~**~**~**~ Next Slide~

Opposite integers have the same numeral but a different sign e.g 3 and (-3)

Know what a
(+) + (+) =
(-) + (-) =
(+) + (-) =
(-) + (+) =
(+) - (+) =
(-) - (-) =
(+) - (-) =
(-) - (+) =

Practice with different numerals in each situation

math review

on page one of the math review we talk about movments of a shape on a coorardinate grid which are transformation- a movement only going up,down,left and right
translation- to slide an image on a striaght line rotation- turn about a fixed point
reflection-to mirror an image.
