Divisiblility Rules

Today in class we talked about different kinds of diagram.

Carroll Diagram- is a table used to show how numbers are the same and different

Use Carroll Diagram to sort 30, 79, 162, 3996, 23517, 31974



A Venn Diagram shows relationships between groups of numbers

Common Factor

A number that two or more numbers are divisible by


Example: 4 is a common factor of 8 and 12


Find the factor of 24


Find the factor of 32


Find the common factor of 24 and 32


Find the greatest common factor

The common factors are 1, 2, 4, and 8.


The greatest common factor is 8.

Find the factors of 18


Find the factors of 30


Find the common factors of 18 and 30


Find the greatest common factor of 18 and 30
