Negetive number represent values below 0 and positive number represent values above 0.
Real life examples are sea level (above or below sea level) and temperature (above or below 0 degrees)
1+(-2)=(-1) is a addition statement
3-(-1)=4 is a subtraction statement
Opposite Integers have the same numeral but different sign Eg. 3 and (-3)
Know what a (+)+(+)= + (-)+(-)= - (+)+(-)= + or - (-)+(+)= + or - (+)-(+)= + or - (-)-(-)= + or - (+)-(-)= + (-)-(+)= -
Pratice with different numerals in each situation
Write an addition statement for the following diagram
5+(-12)+4=(-3)

Good Job on your scribe post Cindy! Your information was very well organized, it was colorful, the video was helpful, the link was also helpful, but one thing you can improve on is to make the fonts more bigger. Well anyways you still did a good job!

Hi Cindy, great scribe post! Your scribe post is very organized and really easy to understand. I liked that you used different colors for your font. I also like the picture you added. But to make your scribe post even better, you should make your font a little bit larger so it would be easier to read.
