Step 1 (Solve) - All your trying to do is isolate the variable.
So first you add -4 to +4, then add -4 to 10, because if youdo something to one side, you have to do it to the other.
A + 4 = 10
A + 4 -4 = 10 -4
A = 6
Step 2 (Check) - Rewrite your equation, replace the variable
with whatever number it equaled. If your answers are the
same on both sides then you are correct.
A + 4 = 10
6 + 4 = 10
10 = 10

Hi Amy! Good job on your scribe post. It was very detailed. The steps will surely help us remember how to solve two equations. The examples also help us understand more about equations. To make your post even better, I think you should change the font size (To help the readers know what you are talking about), font color (too make it attractive and organize), and a picture. Hi Sompong I really like you scribe post. It was very organized and detailed. The only thing is you could have made your words have color and made the font a bit bigger too.
