In class we learned how to covert a fraction to a decimal . Remember what you do to the bodom you do to the top .

-------
50 = 12.5 i think

Hi Levi, you did a nice job on your scribe post. But you spelled "bodom" wrong. It is spelled bottom. You spelled "covert" correctly, but the meaning is not what we are looking for. The word we are looking for is spelled convert. Which means to change one thing into another, it is changed into a different form. I think you took the notes from today's lesson. You were supposed to do yesterday's lesson. The notes should be on Mr.Isfeld's Hub. I didn't really get the example you made. You said that 100 over 50 is 12.5. But 100 over 50 is equal to 2. Here is an example.
eg.
Convert this fraction into a decimal.
50 over 100
Take the numerator divide by 100. And when do something to the top number you have to do the same thing to the bottom number. So, 100 divide by 100 is 1. Then you will get 2 over 1, is also equal to 2. I didn't know why your example was an improper fraction, we are learning about proper fractions not improper fractions.
Here is a link and a video that I think you might like:

Hi Levi. I think you did a nice job on your scribe post but, you could of done a better job. Next time, you should check your spelling and grammar. You wrote bottom as "bodom" which is wrong and you wrote convert as "covert", the spelling is right but, the meaning doesn't fit in the sentence. Also, that's not all what we learned in class. The notes are on Mr. Isfeld's Hub, you may want to check it out. And your example was really confusing.
100/50= 12.5
The answer is suppose to be 2, because 50 x 2= 100
And why would you make an example of a improper fraction while we are learning about proper fractions? You could of done this,
50/100 and try to convert this into a decimal.
Explanation: 100(denominator)divided by 100= 1. (You must remember what you do to the bottom, you must do to the top.)So, 50(numerator) divided by 100= 0.5/1. (0.5)
And that, would of been a better example. I noticed that you didn't have a link or a video so I found some interesting sites you may want to look at.

Hey Levi. Your scribe was so short and it doesn't make an sense. Also you spelt bodom wrong it's bottom. You are right that whatever you do to the bottem you do to the top. Here is a better example than you have because your example is confusing and wrong. Example: 8/10 10(denominator)x10=100 8(numerator)x10=80 80/100
8/10 = 8/100
This is how you convert a fraction to a decimal. Example: 5/10 10(denominator)÷10=1 5(numerator)÷10=0.5 so it's 0.5/1 or just 0.5
Now here is a video that will help you make a better scribe and also you didn't put a video, pictures and a link.

Hope you mkae a better scribe and make it longer a lot.

hey levi your scribe-post is sooo short, it dind't make sense and you spelled bottom wrong

Hi Levi, your blog was really short and you could have explained what you meant a little better. You spelled "bodom" and the spelling is supposed to be bottom.
To make this blog better, next time add color, pictures, a video, a link and more explanation.

hi levi, your scribe post was ok but i didn't really learn any thing for it i was hope to hear a couple of thing because i wasn't here to listen to what mr. isfeld said. I think you can improve so here is some things you can improve on... you spelled bottom wrong it is supposed to be "bottom" and also it didn't really make sense and you didn't have a picture here is a picture that might give you a idea of what you were talking about http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRTaV_Wn840INqYnnMiZVuzkd_MWBPrBYVnxNg0Ivv3QE-nsvMD
hope this helps you improve if you do another scribe-post.

Hi Levi. Your scribe post didn't really explain anything. Watch your spelling, because you put " covert " which I believe should be "convert" and also "bodom" should be "bottom" Your correct that what you do to the bottom you do to the top, here is a much better example 3/5, you divide 5 by 5 to get 1 and do the same to the top, 3 divided by 5 = 0.6 and since i wasn't there when we took notes about converting fractions to decimals, according to "Isfelds Hub" that is not all that we did.

Hi levi. Your scribe post was really short. You should of put more effort on it it. Your post didn't really explained anything that we did. You should also check your spelling because you got a lot of words wrong. I didn't get what your post was talking about. I think that we didn't even learn about converting fractions, decimals, and percents. You should at least added a picture to your post so that it looks more better.
here is a picture you could use next time:

here is a video you could also use:

Next time you should put more effort on your scribe post so that you can get more marks. Good job anyways Levi. :)

Hey Levi! Great job on your scribe post but I think you could've put more details on what we did last time. Let me tell you some suggestions. First, you have some words that are misspelled such as the word "bodom", it's suppose to be "bottom: and the word "covert", it's suppose to be "convert". Another thing that you made a mistake on was your example. It's suppose to be like this: e.g. 100 over 50 is 0.5. This how you get 0.5 as an answer. You must divide the denominator into the numerator. So it must look like this:
100/50 (50÷ 100= 0.5) or id the question was convert 50/100 as a decimal: 50/100 (100÷ 50=2). Anyway, good job. Here are some links that would help you--->

Levi, your post make no sense to me, you spelled words wrong and I don't get the example you gave. You need a title for this blog, which you can put as simple as "Converting Fractions to decimal". You are also missing a link, here is a link I find that you can use

Well Levi, here is a strategy: take jot notes [or keywords] from what we did in class and write them down, to make it easier for you to track down the main ideas on what we did for class but there are always other people trying to help out so next time you know what to do.

hi levi. I really like you scribe post. You could have put a lot more information what we did in class. You also spelled a word wrong you spelled bodom but its suppose to be bottom. You also spelled covert its suppose to be convert. You should also have made you font bigger and touch of colour. I also think you could have explained your answer more for 100 50=12.5. You could also have made it organized. You also edit before you put your scribe post. I hope you could use these tips if you do another scribe post again. Good Job :)
