first you have to have a line segment
eg.
then you use a compass and put it on line segment A
then puut the pencil side just slighty over the middle and make an arc
and do the same thing for line segment B but when u do it make sure u have the compass in the same position from line segment A
then make a straight line in between where the arcs meet then there you have it a perpendicular bisector. that is just one of three ways to find a perpendicular bisector.
here's a video for extra help: hope it helps!

Hi Steven, I liked how you explained how to make a perpendicular bisector. But we didn't talk about the perpendicular bisector in class. We were discussing about the angle bisector and how to make an angle bisector. There are two methods, the first method was teaching us how to make an angle bisector with a compass. The second method was teaching us how to make an angle bisector using a protractor. The information you need on angle bisectors should be in your notes.
Here is a video I think you should add on angle bisectors.

Here is a link on angle bisectors.

Hi Steven, awesome job on the scribe post! I liked how you added a video, it really helped me understand more about 'bisecting a line segment'. But that's not what we learned in math class today. We learned how to draw an 'angle bisector', not about perpendicular bisectors. And also I think you're suppose to explain all of the methods. (Method 1: Use a compass, Method 2: Use a Protractor.) I also think you should add more pictures explaining the steps, instead of only 1 picture of a line segment. Remember to alway use spell check before you publish. ('Today' is 1 word and the word 'put' is not spelled as'puut') So here's a video on how to draw an angle bisector

And here's a picture I'd found for drawing angle bisectors

heey steven, good job on your scribe post. well yeah the serena was right we didnt talk about perpendicular bisectors in class we were really talking about angle bisectors. & good job on adding a picture and a video. bue you could've added a link, maybe this could've added on to your post. http://www.cut-the-knot.org/Curriculum/index.shtml
but other then that goodjob (:
hi steven good job thats all I have to say sorry :(
hi steven great job it really shows what we really did in class, but then I think your forgetting the angle bisector and also the perpindicular bisector all of that and you are in good shape and what irena and serena said well this was fine great job and good job :)
hi steven nice scribe post but you did it on perpendicular bisectors. we weren't talking about that in class. we were talking about angle bisectors. even though your scribe post helped me understand about bisecting line segments but it doesn't help me in how to make an angle bisector. anyways good job
Hi Steven, good scribe post on perpendicular bisectors, but I already did a scribe post about perpendicular bisectors. You were suppose to do one about angle bisectors. But good job! the video helped. But dont forget to put a link. heres one : http://mathworld.wolfram.com/AngleBisector.html
really nice post steven i really liked it but you could of explaned it better
Hey Steven, good job on your scibe post. I think you should add a little more on your scribe like you forgot to talk about the angle bisector and the perpendicular bisector. But anyways nice job on the post. ,you should add more next time. :)
Hey Steven! Serena was right we didn't do perpendicular bisector we did angel bisector. You did a good job with your scribe but you could make it a little longer. Also you didn't explain a lot you forgot to say that there are 3 ways to do the bisector like using a compass and a ruler, using a right triangle and a ruler and paper folding. The picture and video were good though but next time you should explain a little more and not make it short.
Hi Steven,I like you blog, but in class we learned about angle bisector, not perpendicular bisector. You didn't put a link on as well, here is a good website that shows you how to draw an angle bisector http://strader.cehd.tamu.edu/geometry/bisectangle1.0/bisectangle.html
Good job on your scribe-post. You were supposed to talk about angle bisectors, not perpendicular bisectors. The video helped me how to bisect a line segment. I think you should change the color of the font, and add a picture of an angle bisector.

Hey Steven! Good job on making a scribe post but I think you made some mistakes. We talked about ANGLE BISECTORS not perpendicular bisectors. You might also want to change the font or color in your post too. Try adding more image and videos. This might help:

Sorry guys try my new post it explains more about angle bisectors :0 sorry for the mis under standing
good Job Steven, I liked your video but we didn't talk about perpendicular bisectors and next time make a more thorough spell check because you spelled put wrong.
GREAT JOB i'll check out your other blog.
hey steven I looked at your new-er scribe and it was much better than this one.good job on the other one.
Nice scribepost Steven!
